HMH Drop Ship Information and Guidelines

 

 

What is a drop ship order?

  • A drop ship order is an order placed by your customer with you via your website or your accounts at Amazon, eBay, Etsy etc. You then place an order with HMH for HMH items and HMH will process and ship your order from our business directly to your customer with your company name on the package.

 

How does drop shipping benefit my business?

  • A drop ship from HMH will benefit your business by reducing the amount of product that you have to keep in inventory and provide storage for. 
  • HMH will warehouse products for you, box your order, ship and send it directly to your customers for you. We do all the work!

 

Does the package show it comes from HMH?

  • No, the return address does not show that it comes from HMH.
  • The return label will have your business name and return address.
  • Packing lists are not included, your customer will not see pricing information.
  • No tickets or pricing are put on the item boxes.

 

Is there a fee for placing a drop ship order?

  • Yes. There is a $2.50 drop ship “convenience” fee in addition to shipping fees for all orders.
  • This fee includes the packaging and boxing of your order as well as drop off at the carrier facility of your choice (USPS or UPS) for shipping your order.
  • All orders are billed and charged to your credit card prior to leaving the HMH facility.

 

How do I place drop ship orders?

How will I pay for my orders?

  • HMH will charge your credit card account for every drop ship order.  This will be done at the time of shipment of your order.

 

Can I provide my company packing list for my drop ship order?

  • Yes. Please email the packing list to sales@hmhreligious.com and reference the order number and we will include the packing slip in the package with your order. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have the ability to receive a packing list via our website.



What information is required for each drop ship order?

  • First and last name of the person the order is shipping to.
  • Full address complete with city, state and zip code.
  • Item number, description and quantity for each item ordered.
  • A shipping method must be chosen on all orders. (See below for full details)

 

What shipping methods are available?

  • USPS (United States Postal Service)

1.    First Class - Expected delivery is 1 to 5 business days, based on origin, destination, and Post Office acceptance time. (Please visit www.usps.com for complete terms and conditions).

2.    Priority Mail - Expected delivery is 1 to 3 business days, based on origin, destination, and Post Office acceptance time. (Please visit www.usps.com for complete terms and conditions). 

3.    Priority Mail Express - Expected delivery is 1 to 2 business days or overnight based on origin, destination, and Post Office acceptance time. (Please visit www.usps.com for complete terms and conditions).

  • UPS (United Parcel Service)

1.       Ground - Guaranteed delivery in 1-7 business days, based on origin, destination, and shipment date.

2.    3 Day - Guaranteed delivery in 3 business days (where available), pricing will vary depending on destination and package weight. Delivery times will vary, shipments will arrive by the end of the day.

3.    2 Day - Guaranteed delivery in 2 business days (where available), pricing will vary depending on destination and package weight. Delivery times will vary, shipments will arrive by the end of the day.

4.    UPS Next Day (Overnight) - Guaranteed delivery the next business day (where available), pricing will vary depending on destination and package weight. Delivery times will vary, shipments will arrive by the end of the day.

5.       Saturday delivery is available in many areas, special rates apply.



*If you choose USPS please be aware that you are responsible for any lost or damaged packages.

 

 

Do you ship internationally?

·         Yes. We ship USPS and UPS International to limited locations. Pricing and restrictions do apply and vary by shipment destination.

·         All international orders must be prepaid.

·         Please see the drop ship location link on our website for a list of locations. 

·         International shipments may not be able to be tracked once they have left the United States.

·         Due to the high level of lost/stolen packages in foreign countries, HMH assumes no guarantee or responsibility for packages that do not reach their final destination.

 

Will tracking be provided?

·         Yes.  Tracking is included on your invoice that will be emailed to your address on file when an order ships.  You are responsible for providing tracking to your customer.

·         International shipments may not be able to be tracked once they have left the United States.

 

What happens with Lost, Stolen, Delayed and Damaged Packages.

·         ONCE A SHIPMENT HAS LEFT THE HMH FACILITY WE HAVE COMPLETED OUR PART OF THE TRANSACTION. HMH WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST, STOLEN, DELAYED AND/OR DAMAGED PACKAGES.  IT BECOMES THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOU, THE CARRIER CHOSEN BY YOU AND YOUR CUSTOMER TO RESOLVE AS FAR AS COMPENSATION FOR REPLACEMENT, CREDIT OR PAYMENT.  YOU WILL STILL BE BILLED FROM HMH FOR THE ORDER.

 

When are drop ship orders shipped?

·         All orders received will ship either the same day (if received prior to 1pm EST) or 1-2 business days after receiving the order pending availability and postal pickup time.

 

What if I need to cancel an order that I submitted?

·         We have the ability to pull an order from production until 2pm eastern standard time on the business day it was received or prior to receiving tracking information. No fee will be charged, and the order will be canceled. 

·         Orders canceled after 2pm or that have tracking information cannot be pulled and you will be responsible for the shipment to your customer and the full payment of the order.

·         Should you need to cancel an order, please cancel prior to receiving tracking information.

 

 

How do I know if an item is in stock?

·         99% of all HMH items are in stock at all times.

·         For immediate, accurate information please call customer service at 1-800-626-5116. 

·         You will receive regular updates via email regarding the status of our products. This will include items temporarily out of stock, back in stock and discontinued items. This will aid you in keeping items on your website up to date and accurate.

USPS POSTAL MAIL

 

·         First Class Mail with Drop Ship fee included:  $9.45

                        1-8 Business days

 

·         Priority Mail:      $10.50 plus $2.50 drop ship fee

1-3 Business days

 

·         Express Mail:       $29.25 plus $2.50 drop ship fee

                        1-2 Business days

 

A signature can be added to any shipment for an additional fee of $3.50 for Priority and Express Mail shipments.

 

 

 

 

UPS    

 

Drop shipments can be shipped via UPS. Pricing varies by city, state and zip code. We would be happy to provide you with an estimated shipping cost if you choose to ship a drop ship via UPS.
